A calm space to talk, reflect and be heard
Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially if you are not sure what to say or where to begin. You do not need to have everything worked out before your first session.
In our work together, we will go at your pace.
Sessions offer a confidential online space where you can talk about what has been feeling difficult, explore your thoughts and emotions, and begin to make sense of what may be happening beneath the surface.
Counselling is not about being judged or criticised, or told what to do. It is about having space to feel heard, supported and understood, while finding ways forward that feel right for you.
Over time, counselling can help you build self-awareness, feel more grounded, and develop a stronger connection with yourself.
I am an approved practitioner for AXA and Vitality. Eligible clients may be able to access online counselling through their insurance policy, subject to authorisation, policy terms and availability. Please check your cover directly with your insurer before booking.

Yes. Counselling sessions are confidential and offer a private space for you to talk openly without judgement.
There are some important exceptions, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or if I am legally required to share information. These limits to confidentiality will be explained clearly during your initial assessment, so you know what to expect before we begin.
All sessions take place online, so it is important that you choose a private space where you feel comfortable and are unlikely to be interrupted.

Sessions are offered online, allowing you to access counselling from a private and comfortable space that works for you.
Online counselling can offer flexibility and consistency, especially if you have a busy schedule, live further away, or prefer to speak from your own environment.
Before your session, you will need a quiet, private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
You do not need to prepare anything in advance or know exactly what you want to say. We can begin with whatever feels most important for you on the day.
For online sessions, it can help to choose a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable and are unlikely to be interrupted. You may also want to have a drink, tissues, and a notebook nearby if you find it helpful to write things down.
Before the session, try to give yourself a few minutes to settle, check your internet connection, and make sure your device, camera, and microphone are working.
